Subject: What is win32s/wsock32.dll ?
I'm fairly new to the winsock field, so forgive me if this is a dumb
question.
I bought an application which installed a win32s directory in
windows/system, and in this directory is a file called wsock32.dll
Is this a winsock 'stack' ? I think I saw somewhere that its just a 32-16
bit interface or something - can someone confirm this for me please. How is
it used ?
Thanks

Subject: 32 meg stations, poll results
About a week ago, I asked everyone running Mosaic to send me email about how
much memory they had. The results were less than spectacular.
4 responses were recieved - 3 has 32M, one with 20. For 2 of these
machines, DOS was not the primary OS. Given the lack of other responses, I
can only conclude that very few DOS stations run with 32M of memory - this
being the recommended amount for Mosaic.

Could you tell me more about KA9Q? What is it and where can I find
it?

Using Trumpet News Reader v.1.0 Rev. B:
To mark a single article as read without reading it first, use the "Toggle"
option under the "Article" menu -- in the "list mode", where all article
headings are displayed, highlight the article you wish to mark as read and
select the toggle option, or simply press "CONTROL-T". The "Skip" option
(under the same menu) also marks an article as unread, and moves to the next
unread article. Both of these commands only seem to work with single articles
(i.e. if you select a range of articles in list mode by holding down SHIFT
with clicking the mouse, the last article in the range selected is the only
one affected.)
There is no formal "searching" ability for article headings/text that I know
of...
